C&T Solution Achieves IEC 62443-4-1 Certification to Strengthen Cybersecurity and CRA Readiness

Taipei, June 3, 2025 — C&T Solution officially celebrated the achievement of its IEC 62443-4-1 certification with an on-site ceremony held at its exhibition booth this week. The event marked a major milestone in the company’s cybersecurity journey, underscoring its commitment to secure development practices for industrial computing solutions. 

In collaboration with Bureau Veritas (BV) — a leading global testing, inspection, and certification organization — C&T Solution successfully completed the IEC 62443-4-1 certification process. The certification validates that C&T’s product development lifecycle meets international standards for secure design, testing, and maintenance. 


The ceremony was attended by Sebastian Doose, Global Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas, and Jerome Hamel, Head of Cybersecurity Technical Governance at Bureau Veritas, who joined C&T Solution for the presentation and an industry interview session. 

  
During the interview, both executives from Bureau Veritas discussed the importance of IEC 62443-4-1 certification and how it provides C&T Solution with a competitive advantage by ensuring that its development practices align with internationally recognized cybersecurity standards. This alignment not only helps C&T’s customers mitigate growing OT cyber threats, but also prepares the company for compliance with emerging regulations — particularly the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), which is expected to take effect in 2027. 

 
The certification is part of C&T’s broader cybersecurity roadmap. In addition to IEC 62443-4-1, the company is actively preparing its product lines for IEC 62443-4-2 certification, further enhancing product-level security and compliance with global standards.
